In Shelby County, youth typically begin their preparation for Confirmation during or after their freshman year.

When Classes Meet

Preparation for Confirmation takes place at St. Joseph Church in the cafeteria.  The schedule for all of the meeting dates for the upcoming year can be found at the following link:  Confirmation Schedule

Other Requirements

• Retreat – All students are expected to attend a retreat. Details tbd
• Service hours – All students are required to get a certain number of service hours. Details coming.
• Saint – All students must pick a Confirmation patron
• Sponsor- All students must pick a happy, practicing Catholic to be their sponsor. 
• Meeting with pastor – All students meet with Fr. Mike before being confirmed
