The mission of the St. Joseph Church Prayer Shawl Ministry is to provide shawls and lap robes for persons who need to be “Wrapped in Prayer”.

Anyone can request a prayer shawl or lap robe for a relative or friend, or even for themselves. These garments are given at NO cost to parishioners and non-parishioners. There are no dues; each of us buys our own yarn. Remember that with each stitch you take, you are stitching a prayer for the one who receives the garment. Our meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month, EXCEPT May, November, and December. Anyone is welcome, parishioners and non-parishioners, beginners or experienced.
